The Bothun twin sisters, Kristen and Heidi, are some active and well-rounded gals. We love their positive energy and their twin bond. When we got the chance to ask the them 7 twin questions, we got straight to it.

Read on to learn more about their favorite twin moments, whether they see being a twin as a strength or how similarly they answer our twin rapid-fire questions.

  1. WHO ARE YOU AND WHAT DO YOU DO?

Kristen:  My name is Kristen Bothun. I work in the finance field. My main interests are traveling, rock climbing, doing anything outdoors, and music.

Heidi: Heidi, Registered Nurse and Yoga Teacher, Aspiring Baker

  1. WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE TWIN MOMENT?

Kristen: My favorite twin moment has been traveling with my twin. We have taken many trips together but my favorite trip was probably when we took a road trip from Minneapolis to Denver with both of our dogs in tow. It was awesome to experience the sunrise in Red Rocks with my twin and also to just be silly together.

Heidi: Doing things together that we both like doing - tennis, yoga, walking our dogs, traveling, going to live music. I would agree that taking a road trip from Minneapolis to Denver has been one of the highlights!


  1. DO YOU SEE BEING A TWIN AS A STRENGTH OR WEAKNESS?

Kristen:  I see being a twin as a strength because you have a built in best friend.

Heidi: Strength of course.

  1.  WHAT DO YOU THINK IS THE BIGGEST MISCONCEPTION ABOUT TWINS?

Kristen:  I think the biggest misconception people have is that twins are the same. We are similar in some ways but we actually have a lot of differences! Another misconception is that we can read each other’s minds.

Heidi: That we can read each other's minds and feel each other's pain; also that twins never disagree or argue


  1. WHEN YOU ARGUE, HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR YOU TO BECOME FRIENDS?

Kristen: When we argue, it typically takes a day to become friends again.

Heidi: Usually pretty quick!

  1. IS THERE ANY ADVICE YOU WISH YOU HAD RECEIVED FROM OTHER TWINS GROWING UP?    

Kristen:I wish I had been told to always appreciate being a twin, even when you are tired of having them around.

Heidi: Not really, I think we were encouraged to be our own person growing up, which is advice I would give to young twins or anyone raising twins

 

  1.   HOW WOULD YOU STYLE A TWINNING STORE T-SHIRT?

Kristen: I would rock a muscle tee :P

QUESTIONS REGARDING YOUR ORDER:

WHAT DO I DO IF I ORDERED TO THE WRONG ADDRESS?

If your item has not shipped yet, we can still change this the mailing system. However, once you have received a shipping confirmation from us, it is unfortunately not possible to change. We strive to make you happy so please contact us as soon as possible at support@twinningstore.com and we will do our best to accommodate you. Make sure to include your order details (including order number).


RETURNS/EXCHANGE INFORMATION:

We hope that you love your purchase from Twinning Store! If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase we accept returns within 21 days of the original purchase. Merchandise must be unworn, unwashed and in its original condition with all tags attached. 
 
Refund will be made in the form of the original payment within two weeks of receiving the goods back in our warehouse. E-gift cards and final sale items cannot be returned or refunded. 

You will be required to pay the cost of shipping the package back to Twinning Store via a tracked service. We do not reimburse for the postage required to return.

We DO accept take refunds and exchanges when:

If you meet the above criteria, email us at support@twinningstore.com. For our quality assurance, please include the reason for returning the item.

We DO NOT accept take refunds and exchanges when:

Defective Products:
If you feel as though the product you received was defective, please send detailed photos of the unused item and a brief explanation of the defect to support@twinningstore.com so we can look into it right away!

Exchanges:
We do not offer exchanges at this time. If you’d like to make an exchange, simply return the original unused order back to us for a refund and make a new purchase for the item you want through our site.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: We ship all over the world. For questions or issues please contact support@twinningstore.com.

The goods will be imported on behalf of the consignee/buyer. The consignee authorizes Twinning Store to import the goods on his behalf. Further, the consignee/buyer agrees Twinning Store may delegate the obligation to import the goods on his behalf to a subcontractor (e.g. customs broker). The consignee will pay the taxes & duties in addition to the purchase price of the goods.

International Returns and Exchanges:

We accept returns of unworn items within 21 days of delivery. Merchandise must be unworn, unwashed and in its original condition with all tags attached. 

If you would like to move forward and return all or part of your order, please email us at support@twinningstore.com. You will be responsible for shipping the item back via a tracked mail carrier. Twinning Store is unable to provide international return labels at this time.

All refunds will be credited back to the original form of payment. Shipping costs are not refundable.
