6 quick questions with twin sisters Mylene & Rosanne
You may already be familiar with the awesome multi-talented twin sisters, Mylene and Rosanne. But if you aren't we are so excited for you to get to know them a bit better in this interview. Acting, song-writing, Instagram, YouTube, you name it - Mylene and Rosanne do it all!
The twin sisters started their careers at 8(!) years old and have since just added more and more amazing milestones to their roster. In this interview you will learn about their similarities (and differences), who's the messiest and if they consider being twins a strength or not. Enjoy!
1. WHO ARE YOU AND WHAT DO YOU DO?
We are Mylene & Rosanne, age 20. We are an artist duo with own songs, actresses and we are influencers on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. We are professional performers and study musical theater at the conservatory.
2. HOW DID YOU GET STARTED?
We started acting and singing in professional musicals when we were 8 years old. In 2013 we won the Dutch Junior Song contest and represented The Netherlands in Kiev, Ukraine on the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. Since then we make our own songs and we release one song a year and played on many Dutch festivals. One of our songs has already 21 million views on YouTube, which is quite a lot in a small country like The Netherlands. We have been part of the jury in both seasons of the popular TV show All Together Now.
3. DO YOU SEE BEING A TWIN AS A STRENGTH OR WEAKNESS IN GETTING TO WHERE YOU ARE TODAY?
We see being twins as a strength. We combine our strengths in our work and complement each other but sometimes it is also funny if people cannot see who is who.
4. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE TWIN MOMENT?
Our favorite twin moment was when we did an audition for a popular children's choir and the leader thought she had already seen the audition of one of us when she entered the audition room, not noticing that we are part of a twin. She had seen the other twin sister. In the end, we were both part of the popular Dutch Children for Children’s Choir.
5. WHEN YOU ARGUE, HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR YOU TO BECOME FRIENDS?
After an argument, it does not take long before we become friends again. Most of the time, we discuss the topic and give each other a big hug and move on.
6. WHAT DO YOU THINK EVERYONE SHOULD KNOW ABOUT BEING TWINS?
what everyone should know about being twins is that although twins look the same, twins are two totally different persons with their own opinion and different tastes and should not be seen as one person, which happens to us very often.

Rosanne is the bossiest but Rosanne thinks Mylène is the bossiest
WHO IS THE MESSIEST?
Rosanne definitely is the messiest!
WHO IS MOST ACTIVE ON SOCIAL MEDIA?
Rosanne is the most active on social media, but Mylène has a few more followers on Instagram at the moment.
WHO IS THE MORE SHY TWIN?
Rosanne is the more shy twin. Mylène it the twin who does all the talking and Rosanne gives the intelligent summary at the end.
WHO IS THE MORE ADVENTUROUS TWIN?
Rosanne is the more adventurous twin. She is very sporty and has a great talent for sports and is athletic. Mylene is more into dancing and is more gracefully but we both like outdoor sports.
LASTLY, IS THERE AN EVIL TWIN?
Mylene & Rosanne are both equally evil. We are not an evil twin, but very sweet and help other people. So boring.
