Behind the scenes with twin brothers behind SEEING DOUBLE
When we heard of Jake and Neil, behind SEEING DOUBLE we had to know more. The twin brothers are making their mark on the DJ scene with their own music and playing clubs with their high power energy and wish to spread joy all around. From starting on their own, the twins found it better to unite and have continued to grow ever since.
Get an inside scoop on how being twins have affected their SEEING DOUBLE journey, some great tips for any twin, twin moments and what double trouble they have gotten in. So let's get right into it.
Who are you and what do you do?
We are twin brothers Neil and Jake Szlagowski hailing from Sydney, Australia. We Dj and make dance music together, playing in clubs and having an amazing time!
How did you get started?
We got started by our love of music and making people dance, Neil actually doing one club show under a different name alone then said: "nope Jake lets do this together, It'll be way more fun".
We then came up with our name SEEING DOUBLE haha. From there it's been an amazing journey meeting amazing people while traveling and playing at some crazy venues. We first started playing house parties and then eventually grew into club shows.
Do you see being a twin as a strength or weakness in getting to where you are today?
We both think its a strength for sure. It allows us to be closer as not brothers, but friends giving each other a boost and positive criticism when needed (mostly Jake haha, just kidding). All those amazing moments we share together helps us create a better friendship and more of a bond not only with us but also our friends and family!
What's your favorite twin moment?
We don't have one there are many though. It has to be playing pranks in high school swapping classes and pretending to be each other. When we are both telling a story we just roll with it even if its complete nonsense, that's the best!
When you argue, how long does it take for you to become friends?
We won't talk for weeks after an argument haha just kidding, we make up pretty much instantly. we both agree life is too short to hold grudges. If it's about food it can get heated!
What do you think everyone should know about being twins?
That twin telepathy is real!! and probably that we are separate people, sometimes we get announced as one which is good and bad. Ultimately, we are independent and have our own goals and strive for different things. If people are reminded of that, that is awesome!
How would you style a Twinning Store t-shirt?
Neil would rock it with a denim or leather biker style jacket for sure.
Jake would wear it with a bomber jacket at the club then would take it off after a few drinks lol!

Who is the bossiest? Neil for sure
Who is the messiest? We are both actually neat freaks but if we had to pick would be jake
Who is most active on social media? 100 percent Neil
Who is the more shy twin? This one is tough we are both very outgoing I would have to say this one is split 50/50!
Who is the more adventurous twin? Also tough! we both went skydiving together, although would be Jake
Lastly, is there an evil twin? Neil was born first so would say it's him haha
